There is 80 trillion dollars in the world. Suppose you wake up one morning and realize that all this money is in your account, all the jewelry, food, electronics, and all houses you wished for, but there is no one remaining on the earth.
You couldn’t do much because at that point money would be worthless. It would lose its role, becoming trash.
Although in this scenario they would be worth nothing, in real life, they have the power to provide us with all the things we need.
Money gives us the chance to have a house, a car, the furniture we want, even a second home, as well as the chance to enjoy going out, dating, vacations, and other pleasant things.
The race to win more and more
Although money is important, from a young age we are taught that money is the solution to everything in life, even though that is not exactly the case.
We are in a subconscious race to earn more and more money without seeing a specific goal.
You should take into account that matters are quite restrained, but, due to the fact there is a finite range of meals to attempt, a confined variety of vacations to move on, homes to stay in, cars to drive, and gadgets to revel in.
Every person ought to have a certain amount of cash with a view to stay a happy lifestyles, and you also want to think about the quantity you’ve got a good way to have that existence you want.
The idea is that even with a smaller amount of money, you can live a very happy life, in which you don’t limit yourself in any way.
From a certain point on, any additional wealth accumulated will no longer bring you any additional joy and will no longer be able to make your life better.
So, what is the position of money on your lifestyle?
You need to think about how much money you are going to have to amass in order to be satisfied with your life. Are you in a race without a clear goal, or do you know exactly how much money you want to have in order to have the most enjoyable life possible?
If the amount is based on a specific dollar amount, consider what is most important to you. For example, if you have to work until midnight, it will not give you time to get up early enough to exercise, so you may want to consider altering that.
But this also means that working in the city and being away from family for a long time just gives you less time with your family members; or if you skip a vacation so that you can save more money, you will also lose the opportunity to make some nice memories.
There are many examples of this kind, but as you can see, money is not always everything, so you need to clearly establish what you want.
1000x monthly expenses
Knowing what your monthly expenses are and making a simple calculation, you can conclude that to live the same way for 30 years, you will need to put aside about 400-500x your monthly expenses, so that you can live without problems for another 30 years based on these expenses.
Going by the same idea and taking into account the same calculation, to live exactly the same, but for 60 years, putting aside 1000x your expenses could be a goal to aspire to and thus you could be insured for life.
These calculations are more made to give you a general idea because over time expenses tend to increase, especially when a family enters your life.
One thing you need to know is the importance of money in your life. While not many people work towards achieving financial independence, there are some who do and have all of these things in mind. So make sure you have an idea of how much you need to be “enough” for yourself.
Financial Independence or Financial Freedom
It’s something I’m working on. I can say that I’ve reached financial independence. I can live in US from the investments I’ve made without too many problems, even if my active job might suffer.
The goal is financial freedom so that it provides me not only stability but also a very good standard of living for survival.
But still, these are only objectives (and important though they are), but that’s not what this is about. Money is critical, but it isn’t always the maximum vital aspect. I have economic goals, however the most essential factor is also to attain your non-public dreams or goals that have nothing to do with money.
Family life, in my opinion, is the most important, above all.
Conclusion
Money is very important, bringing a sense of security and making us much stronger in the decisions we make.
Earning more money is a welcome thing that everyone wants, but despite this, you need to think about what amount of money you aspire to, and based on this amount of money, determine how you will achieve it.
It’s good to work hard for money, but know that everything must be analyzed and we must find a balance between money and our lives… Because NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT money.
